Rick and Jan have been a part of this congregation since the early 1990's, when they moved to the area from greater Chicago, IL. Rick owns two businesses, both relating to automobiles. The mechanic shop, 62 East Auto, is managed and operated by his oldest son, Jason. Mtn. Home Street Rods manufactures high quality coupes and hot rods. His youngest son, Brett, works with him. He has been recognized by the industry for excellence, having won the PPG Paint Award two years in a row. A gentleman who purchased one of his cars won the award in Florida last year.
Rick is an avid fisherman whose winnings in bass tournaments have been donated to missionary enterprises around the world. Their family enjoys living near the lakes, where you will find them nearly every weekend throughout the boating and skiing season.
Rick's wife, Jan, is an investment advisor who also serves the congregation as a Treasurer. Rick and Jan have two granddaughters. Their middle son, Rick, received a doctorate in the field of Physical Therapy and married in 2011.
Rick has been preparing for this role for several years. He was a faithful participant in our ShepherdSCHOOL.
